The Qur’an stands as the most frequently read book worldwide. Revealed by God to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) during the 7th century, it is cherished by Muslims globally as God’s final Scripture and Testament. Since its revelation, Muslims of diverse backgrounds have recited, memorized, and practiced its teachings.

This holy text inspires the faithful, bringing them peace, often moving them deeply through its eloquence and poetic imagery, particularly when heard aloud. What sets the Qur’an apart is that it is not only free of scientific contradictions but also historically reliable. Its careful preservation is unmatched, with only a single, authorized version (in Arabic) in existence. Approximately the same length as the New Testament, the Qur’an also possesses a unique quality: it can be memorized in its entirety by people of all ages and backgrounds—including non-Arabic speakers—a phenomenon considered one of its many miracles by Muslims.
