📖 Surah Al-Kawthar (The Fountain of Abundance) – Meaning, Virtues & Lessons

Surah Al-Kawthar (سورة الكوثر) is the 108th chapter of the Holy Qur’an and one of its shortest yet most powerful Surahs 🌟. Revealed in Makkah 🕋, it contains only 3 verses but carries a deep and everlasting message of hope, honor, and divine blessings for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

📌 Overview of Surah Al-Kawthar

  • 📜 Chapter Number: 108

  • 📏 Number of Verses: 3

  • 🌍 Place of Revelation: Makkah

📜 Cause of Revelation

According to historical reports:

In response, Allah ﷻ revealed Surah Al-Kawthar as a divine consolation 💖, declaring that:

  • The Prophet ﷺ was granted Al-Kawthar — a fountain of abundance in Paradise 🌊.

  • His enemies would be the ones truly cut off from goodness.
